Get Back With Your Ex

Don’t act like a shrew

Don’t act like a shrew

Be kind when talking about your ex – there is probably nothing more guaranteed to alienate you from your ex even further, than you badmouthing them, their friends or their annoying habits.

If you want your ex back then keep your negative thoughts to yourself. And maybe if the annoying little habits of your ex are really too much to bear, you might want to consider the fact that you might be better off without them. It’s only a thought.

Don’t be clingy

Really there is nothing more distressing to a person who is trying to get away from you than to have to face a clingy, needy person. If the positions were reversed, you too would probably feel like you were drowning under all that negative energy.

Think about the last time that you were drawn to a person whom you could have at the snap of your fingers. Were you at all interested in continuing a relationship with them, did you treat them with respect, were you even bothered about them?

It might all sound too cruel to be true, but most of us will not appreciate the person who clings to us like a vine, who makes themselves so readily available that if we say “jump!” they jump without any questions asked.

This last trait might be what you want in someone working under you, or when you need someone at a crunch time, but do we really want these types of people in our lives?

Some people tend to be clingy and doormat-like even after their partner has left them, and this can annoy the hell out of your ex. Stop this behavior immediately, and try being more positive and assertive.

The change you will see in the attitudes of the people around you, even your ex, will be well worth the effort, I promise you. For more on this go to the section marked, “Don’t become a doormat”.
